Introduction

Boomi is an automation platform that lets you connect Files.com to many other web services. General information about the Files.com Boomi connector can be found in the Apps & Integrations documentation.

Processes

The automations that Boomi users create to connect different apps together are called processes. Boomi users create processes using a no code interface. In the UI interface, Boomi connectors can be searched, selected, and configured. These connectors are connected together to provide a flow of data between applications that results in actions being executed using that data.

Getting started with creating a process using the Files.com connector can be found in the Integrations documentation.

Automations utilize three core Boomi Integration concepts to accomplish an automated work flow.

  • Connection - provides access to an outside service (such as Files.com). This authentication allows access to the service data/API, and will be used for calls to the outside service on the user's behalf.
  • Operation - represents a specific action or API call against the application or data source defined by the connection.
  • Process - a collection of operations to automate the transfer of data between different services.

The Files.com Boomi connector implements the core Boomi Integration concepts to allow processes to interact with the Files.com API.
