Connection

Authentication for the Boomi connector is handled by creating a connection using an API key.

To create a Boomi connection, first generate an API key from the web interface or via the API or an SDK.

Use a dedicated user key with the permissions the workflow needs. The key's permission scope and Workspace limit its operations; a user key also follows its account's permissions. API Keys explains scope, path restrictions, and credential lifecycle.

After creating an API key, create a new Boomi connection for the Files.com connector and set the API Key.
