Connection

Authentication for the Boomi connector is handled by creating a connection using an API key.

To create a Boomi connection, first generate an API key from the web interface or via the API or an SDK.

The API key has the same permissions and authorizations as its corresponding user. When using an API key of a site administrator, or a site-wide API key, you will have full control over your Files.com site. When using an API key of any other user, you will be limited to the access permissions and capabilities of that user account.

After creating an API key, create a new Boomi connection for the Files.com connector and set the API Key.
