Zaps

The automations that Zapier users create to connect different apps together are called Zaps. Zapier users create Zaps using a no code interface. In the UI interface, Zapier integrations can be searched, selected, and configured. These integrations are connected together to provide a flow of data between applications that results in actions being executed using that data.

Zaps utilize three core Zapier Integration concepts to accomplish an automated work flow.

• Authentication - provides access to an outside service (such as Files.com). This authentication allows access to the service data/API, and will be used for calls to the outside service on the user's behalf.
• Triggers - All Zaps start with a trigger, an event that occurs in a service that starts the automation. This typically happens when an item is added or updated in the outside service.
• Actions - Data flows from a trigger to an action, which then calls an outside service to perform an action. This action could be things like adding an item in another system or sending an email.

The Files.com Zapier integration implements the core Zapier Integration concepts to allow zaps to interact with the Files.com API.
