Authentication

Authentication for the Zapier application is handled using an API key.

To use the Zapier application, first generate an API key from the web interface or via the API or an SDK.

Use a dedicated user key with the permissions the workflow needs. The key's permission scope and Workspace limit its operations; a user key also follows its account's permissions. API Keys explains scope, path restrictions, and credential lifecycle.
