ExaVault Legacy APIs

This reference is for developers maintaining applications that used the hosted ExaVault API before their accounts migrated to Files.com. Both v2.0 and v1.2 remain supported in perpetuity for those existing applications. New applications must use the Files.com API and SDKs.

Use the version your integration already calls: v2.0 uses resource-based URLs under /api/v2/; v1.2 uses named operations under /v1.2/. The versions differ in authentication, request formats, and error handling.

These APIs describe compatibility with the former hosted ExaVault service on Files.com. They are separate from the customer-operated ExaVault appliance.
